
With more than 23 years of professional experience in the health and tennis industry, Joe Wilkerson has an impressive track record of growing membership, programming and the game of tennis.
Joe held key management positions with Midtown Athletic Clubs/Midtown Health from 2003-17, overseeing all tennis operations at two of Mercy Health’s clubs and three area country clubs. Joe was then promoted to General Manager for Mercy Health Plex Anderson, the flagship of Midtown Health, where he operated a 150,000-square-foot Health Wellness & Tennis Club in Cincinnati leading a team of 225 associates.
From 2017-19, Joe was General Manager of the Raleigh Racquet Club, a 31-court facility on 20 acres with more than 1,000 members in North Carolina.
Joe joined JTCC in August 2019 as Senior Vice President, Joe immediately created Learn Tennis Now, JTCC’s new adult tennis program and was responsible for oversight of club operations, programming and staffing. Joe became Chief Operating Officer in 2022 and in addition to the responsibilities above, he managed accounting, HR, capital projects, and sought out new business development opportunities for JTCC nationwide.
In October 2025, Joe joined the USTA as General Manger of the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, FL.
