Vice President, Team Business and Event Operations,

Orlando Guardians (XFL)

Bart Kendall currently serves as Vice President, Team Business and Event Operations, for Orlando’s newest professional sports franchise, the XFL’s Orlando Guardians. Kendall oversees all business operations of the Guardians which includes developing impactful corporate partnerships, inclusive community engagement strategies, ticket sales, team marketing and communications, promotional campaigns, game day event operations and fan experience at Camping World Stadium, and overall responsibility for the team.

 

The XFL’s ownership group, led by Dany Garcia, Dwayne Johnson, and Gerry Cardinale’s RedBird Capital Partners, is building a fan-first, fast-paced global professional football league with innovative rules and enhanced 360 game experience. The XFL will bring entertainment to world class football, with the goal of advancing the game of football and expanding player opportunities when it launches in February 2023.

 

Before joining the Guardians, Kendall ran his own independent sports marketing agency that helped brands and sports properties develop strategy, drive revenue, and activate their marketing programs. Prior to this, Kendall was Vice President of Alternative Event Programming at Golf Channel/NBC Sports in Orlando with his primary focus being the development and growth of the World Long Drive Tour and various high profile college golf events.

 

Kendall started his sports marketing journey by working for industry giant, IMG, for 18 years. He held a variety of positions including Vice President, Corporate Sales, and Senior Vice President, IMG Golf Consulting and was instrumental in helping launch high profile golf events such as the Tiger Woods primetime “Battle Series” and the PGA Tour’s Deutsche Bank Championship.

 

Before entering the sports marketing world, Kendall pursued a career as a professional race car driver by competing in 40+ sports car racing events including the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring.

 

He is a proud graduate of Stanford University and currently lives in Winter Park, FL with his wife and three children.
