Tekoa Pouerie is a mission-driven CEO, thought leader, and national voice in nonprofit and social impact. Her work sits at the intersection of compassion, strategy, and results. As President & CEO of The Sharing Center—Seminole County’s largest and most comprehensive resource hub for families facing hunger, homelessness, and crisis—Tekoa leads with both heart and a sharp business acumen.

 

With nearly two decades of executive experience, Tekoa has built a career scaling programs, securing multimillion-dollar funding streams, and transforming organizations to better serve vulnerable communities. She is a trusted subject matter expert in trauma-informed care and cultural responsiveness, having trained over 10,000 public servants, law enforcement professionals, and corporate leaders across the country. Her work is known for blending lived experience, policy insight, and practical leadership; creating lasting change where it’s needed most.

 

Before joining The Sharing Center, Tekoa served as Vice President at Pace Center for Girls, overseeing statewide fundraising efforts for 21 locations. Her leadership helped fuel groundbreaking initiatives that reduced juvenile justice involvement and centered equity in systems that serve girls and young women.
