Barbara Drahl currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Commercial Strategy for Brightline, the first privately funded passenger rail system in America in over a century. Brightline is designed to reinvent travel and take cars off the road by connecting city pairs and congested corridors that are too close to fly and too long to drive.
Barbara leads Brightline’s commercial, marketing, and brand efforts for its South Florida operations and for Brightline’s Orlando extension, a $2.7B project that spans 168-miles from West Palm Beach to Orlando International Airport.
Barbara brings more than 20 years of hospitality and tourism marketing expertise to her role at Brightline. As the President & Founder of Drahl & Co. Marketing Solutions, Barbara has worked with leading brands as a strategist and business partner to deliver on business objectives. A former Vice President of Marketing and Sales at SeaWorld and Vice President of Marketing at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Barbara has a track record of succeeding in various executive marketing roles ranging from holistic brand management, digital marketing and e-commerce, media and advertising strategy, content strategy, sales, and partnerships. Barbara is recognized for big picture thinking with the ability to adapt and excel in all work environments and resides in Orlando with her spouse and their two children.
