Drew Donovan is a skilled professional with 7+ years of operations experience in overseeing large scale event logistics and the successful execution of sponsorship activations. Donovan focuses on driving efficiency and innovation within the operations process, constantly identifying areas of growth or improvement within the tournament infrastructure that will improve the guest experience and drive business initiatives.
As the new Tournament Director of the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, Donovan manages a team who continues to position the event as one of the PGA TOUR’s most prestigious and elevated events on the PGA TOUR schedule. Prior to being elevated as Tournament Director, Donovan previously managed all tournament operations including 20+ vendors who build-out the tournament infrastructure, including hospitality venues, concessions, merchandise tents, restrooms, grandstands, parking lots, signage, security, ecology, etc.
Donovan loves to play golf and watch any sport played by the Florida Gators in his spare time, and has a young family with his wife Brittney, with three energetic boys Carter (7), Logan (4), and Tripp (2). Donovan is a proud graduate of the DeVos Sport Business Management Graduate Program at the University of Central Florida.
