Women in Sports Leadership Award: The Women in Sport Leadership Award recognizes a leader who has helped make sports in Central Florida the successful industry it is today. An honor reserved for those who have given their time, energy and passion to improving the industry in new directions, Women in Sports Leadership nominees should have significant accomplishments as an entrepreneur, executive, contributor, athlete, owner, volunteer or other role that has supported the growth and development of the sports industry within Central Florida.Rising Star Award: The Rising Star Award recognizes a young female professional in the sports industry who has demonstrated strong leadership, initiative, entrepreneurship and exceptional contributions early in their career. The Rising Star award is intended to support and encourage the next generation of female sports industry leaders who will take the sport to new heights. Nominees should have demonstrated significant accomplishments within the Central Florida sports community within the first 5 years of their professional career.
