Jeff Osterman is in his 5th year at Montverde Academy in the Development Office. Montverde Academy is a coeducational, independent, international college preparatory school for boarding students grades 7-12, day students Pre-K3-12 and post-graduate students that represent more than 90 International countries.
As the Director of Development, is responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program, he plays a critical role as the driving force behind all fundraising efforts and ensuring the financial sustainability of Montverde Academy.
Osterman also serves as the Executive Director of the Athletic Booster Club, which raises funds to enhance the athletic programing and develops corporate partnerships for signature athletic events to increase the MVA brand awareness locally, regionally and on a national stage. The MVA Eagles have secured sixteen National Championship titles and earn more than $5 million in athletic scholarships annually. Thirty percent of the student-athletes commit to playing sports in college with more than 50 alumni playing sports professionally. Osterman also contributes in aiding the development of the academy’s annual fundraising campaigns.
Prior to athletic development, Osterman was a former 25-year collegiate women’s basketball coach on all levels, including Wichita State University, University of South Florida, Fordham University and the College of Central Florida. He amassed a head coaching record of 175-35, 4x Mid-Florida Coach of the Year, 21 All-Americans and numerous WNBA and International professional players.
Osterman currently sits on the Board of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce; previously he has served on the New Tampa YMCA Board, and various WBCA/NJCAA/NCAA National Committees. He also has done numerous presentations & clinics on various basketball topics along with lectures on Branding.
Osterman graduated Siena College with a BS degree in Marketing & Management. He resides in Lake County with his wife Kristin and son JC (Montverde Academy ’24).
