
Stephanie Taylor serves as Chief Operating Officer of the YMCA of Central Florida, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience serving youth, families, and communities through national nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining the YMCA in 2026, she served as Chief Operating Officer of Beloved Community, Inc., Chief Operating Officer of the YMCA of Greater Houston, and as a Management Consultant with YMCA of the USA, helping organizations strengthen operations, leadership, and long-term impact.
As a member of the YMCA's senior leadership team, Stephanie oversees Family Center and Early Childhood Development operations while helping advance strategic initiatives that enhance the member experience, strengthen community partnerships, and support the organization's next chapter of growth across Central Florida.
Stephanie attended High Point University on a full Division I basketball scholarship, where she earned the Millis Scholar Athlete Award and served as team captain. She credits the coaches and mentors throughout her athletic career with shaping her leadership style and instilling the values of teamwork, resilience, and service.
Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Stephanie spent time in the Philadelphia area and Houston before relocating to Orlando. She holds an MBA from Eastern University and is passionate about expanding opportunities for young people and families to thrive through sports, wellness, and community engagement.
