Inter.co Stadium to Host U.S. Men’s National Team in Friendly Against Peru on Sept. 26
Orlando to host USMNT’s first match following the FIFA World Cup 2026™
Orlando, Fla. (Aug. 4, 2026) – Inter.co Stadium will host the U.S. Men’s National Team for an international friendly against Peru on Saturday, Sept. 26, U.S. Soccer announced today. The Fan Appreciation Match will kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET and be broadcast on TNT, truTV, HBO Max, Telemundo, Universo and Peacock, with radio coverage provided by Westwood One Sports and Fútbol de Primera.

“Orlando has developed a fantastic soccer culture. Of course, we also know the city has a proud history of being a great host for the national team, and I remember well the reception of the people when we played one of our first matches there,” said United States Men’s National Team Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino. “At the home of a club that does such a good job of developing players, there is no better place for us to begin the new chapter of the Men’s National Team.”
The match will mark the USMNT’s first appearance since the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and the team’s eighth all-time match at Inter.co Stadium. The Americans last played in the venue in January 2025, earning a 3-0 victory over Costa Rica in an international friendly.
Through seven all-time meetings, the USMNT are 3W-2L-2D against Peru, most recently drawing on Oct. 16, 2018, in East Hartford, Conn. The two sides have met in Florida once before, with the United States earning a 1-0 victory on a goal from Cobi Jones during the group stage of the Concacaf Gold Cup on Feb. 16, 2000.
Peru boasts a rich soccer tradition within South America’s CONMEBOL confederation, highlighted by a Copa América title in 1975 and five FIFA World Cup appearances. The nation reached a record-high No. 10 ranking in the FIFA World Rankings in 2017 before qualifying for its most recent World Cup in 2018.
Since opening in 2017, Inter.co Stadium has been a successful venue for the USMNT, with the team holding an unblemished record at the home of Orlando City SC and the Orlando Pride. Through seven matches, the U.S. holds a perfect 7W-0L-0D mark with 25 goals scored and just two allowed.
The venue also holds a special connection to U.S. defender Alex Freeman, who developed through Orlando City’s academy and spent three seasons with the club’s first team before joining LaLiga side Villarreal. Freeman enjoyed a breakout FIFA World Cup 2026™ campaign, including a decisive goal against Australia that secured first place in the group’s standings for the United States. He was named MLS Young Player of the Year in 2025 before making the move to Spain.

Tickets for the match will go on sale to the public on Friday, August 7 at 10 a.m. ET, while presale will begin Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m. ET and run to Friday, Aug. 7, at 10 a.m. ET.
