Barry Goff

Founder & Managing Partner, Artistry Restaurants

Barry Goff is a Founder and Managing Partner at Artistry Restaurants and also serves as the Managing Partner of Triloma Financial Group, a boutique private equity firm and the majority owner of Artistry. Barry is primarily responsible for identifying and negotiating Artistry’s acquisition and partnership opportunities and overseeing the company’s capital markets activities.

 

Artistry currently owns and operates seven restaurant brands and 51 restaurants throughout the Southeastern U.S. and has an additional six restaurants under development in Florida and Texas. The Artistry team is more than a hospitality group; it is a collection of passionate leaders, exceptional operators and experienced creators who are committed to bringing people together through immersive dining experiences.

 

Before forming Artistry and Triloma, Barry served as a Managing Director of Tavistock Group, where he created and launched Tavistock Restaurants. Through a combination of brand acquisitions and organic growth, the portfolio grew from inception to 13 brands operating in 17 states, with restaurants in some of the most attractive and competitive markets in the U.S. Barry also led Tavistock Capital Group, a distressed asset acquisition group formed following the Great Recession. He also served as the chairman of Tavistock Group’s U.S. investment committee.

 

Prior to his time at Tavistock, Barry spent five years with CNL Financial Group as the Chief Investment Officer and President of CNL Restaurant Properties. Barry also served on the CNL Executive Committee, participating in strategic planning and oversight for all CNL REITs.

 

Barry is a tax attorney and practiced law from 1988 to 1998 in Los Angeles and Orlando.

 

Barry received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Central Florida, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from New York University School of Law. Barry has been married to his wife Shannon for 41 years and spends most of his free time with his four married children and his 10 (soon to be 11) grandchildren.
