Advisory Board Bio – John Troutt

John Troutt is head of sales for Stadium Club, a one-of-a-kind sports bar located inside Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando that opened in January 2024. John brings a diverse background in sports, hospitality and media at the highest levels. He started his career in Atlanta right out of college in 1986 at TBS Sports and CNN Sports, followed by a move to the competitor Sports Center in Bristol Connecticut in 1988. After stints in Georgia, Florida, and Oklahoma John moved to Orlando in 2001 to join Sunshine Network. He finished his 15-year sports journey at Golf Channel in 2003.

Leveraging their combined experience in media, sports, hospitality, and destination management, John and his wife Suzanne launched 3T Ventures LLC in 2006. Their resource, contacts, and connections company provided meeting and event planning, DMC services, media and sports consulting. In 2016 John started Exclusive Golf Services, an independent golf wholesale / tour-operator business. He provided resorts and hotels with “golf available” solutions and packages. He consulted resorts on how to enhance, streamline, and market golf packages and tournaments without having a golf course on property and create new or additional revenue.

In 2019 John lead three international partners from concept to completion and co-founded Celebration Soccer School in Celebration FL. On February 28^th, 2020, Celebration Soccer School became Orlando City Soccer Club’s flagship and first official youth soccer school. His new affordable year-round training concept for all skill levels boasted a free trial, and no contracts.  It changed the landscape of how youth soccer training business could be successful with many soccer programs and start ups trying to copy and implement the concept.

John is a graduate of Troy (State) University in Alabama with a BS in Broadcast Journalism and played for the Trojans tennis team. Married to wife Suzanne since 2002, they have two sons John and Robby and live in Celebration.
