Scott Cavanaugh serves as Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Licensing for Travel + Leisure Co., where he is responsible for driving the company’s growth through strategic marketing initiatives, business partnerships, and licensing opportunities. In his role, Cavanaugh focuses on creating new owner opportunities, enhancing the owner value proposition, and generating revenue by leveraging the iconic Travel + Leisure brand to create unique travel offerings and experiences. He oversees key partnerships with prominent brands such as Allegiant Air, Dotdash Meredith, Legacy Motor Club, Live Nation, PayPal, and Wyndham Championship, and plays a pivotal role in executing the company’s Blue Thread strategy, driving synergy with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
Cavanaugh joined Travel + Leisure Co. in 2002 as Director of Financial Services and has since held leadership positions in Business Operations and Wyndham Consumer Finance. He was appointed to his current role in 2017. Prior to joining the company, Cavanaugh gained extensive experience in automotive finance, holding management positions at Ford Motor Credit Company and Bank of America Dealer Services.
Cavanaugh has earned recognition throughout his career for his leadership and impact on the business, including the Wyndham Chairman’s Award (2005), the Innovation Award (2011), and the ARDA ACE Employee of the Year Award (2024). Beyond his professional achievements, he is also dedicated to philanthropy and serves as Executive Director of Stars & Pars, a fundraising event benefiting Give Kids the World in Orlando, Florida. Under his leadership, the event has raised over $3.1 million for the charity over the past 12 years.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international economics from The George Washington University and is a member of the PayPal Customer Advisory Board and the Pearl Advisory Board for David’s Bridal.
