Advisory Board Bio – Tony Saccaro

Tony Saccaro, originally from Metairie, Louisiana, has spent the last 25 plus years in Central Florida. He has built his career around one core belief: sports and hospitality have the power to create connection, community, and unforgettable experiences. As Director of Sales for Rentyl Resorts, he leads the sales team for Encore Resort at Reunion, Spectrum Resort Orlando, and Bear’s Den Resort—three properties known for bringing families, teams, and organizations together in Central Florida.

Tony’s connection to the sports world runs deep. As a former LSU Basketball Manger, under Coach Dale Brown to an intern with the Orlando Magic, he has always been connected with sports! From 2014 to 2020, he served on the Executive Board of the Gainesville Sports Commission, ultimately becoming Vice President and playing a contributing role in helping to improve the region’s sports footprint. After relocating to Orlando, he continued to stay active in the sports ecosystem, collaborating closely with UCF Athletics, The Big 12 teams and local partners to help strengthen Orlando’s position as a leading sports destination.

Driven, relationship-focused, and community-minded, Tony brings an energy and perspective that reflects his belief that sports do far more than drive visitation—they inspire teamwork, bring people together, and create lasting impact for the regions they touch.

Tony has been married to his wife Janet for 18 years, and they have a 13-year old son Brady; who is very much the sports enthusiast!
