Executive Board Bio – John Fremstad

Prior to joining OUC, John spent 25+ years distinguishing himself as a successful entrepreneur and executive. He's been instrumental in the launch of several successful companies with multiple appearances on the Inc. 500/5000 list. John has held executive level positions with Fortune 250 companies in sales/business development, marketing, mission critical, management and government relations. He has extensive economic and community development experience. John began his career as a guitarist and consultant, working with such artists as the Rolling Stones, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Van Halen, Double Duty, Scandal, Frank Sinatra and Bruce Springsteen.

John holds B.S and M.A degrees from the University of Wisconsin and University of Nebraska systems.  He attended Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government executive program in Science, Technology and Innovation Policy.
