Tammy Gustafson, a graduate of The Ohio State University, is currently an Executive with Universal Destinations & Experiences, responsible for Sales Operations across the global sales portfolio. Gustafson has been part of the Universal family since 1997 and has led the growth in Orlando to four parks, with the newest opening of Epic and now eleven hotels.
Appointed by the Governor’s office to the Florida Commission on Tourism, Gustafson served as President of the Visit Florida Board of Directors 2014-15 and has been on the board since 2005. She currently serves on the Florida Council of Tourism Leaders and audit committee. A current board member and Past President and Ex-officio member of the Friends of Florida State Parks, Gustafson enjoys the outdoors and is an avid wakeboarder, waterskier and enjoys horseback riding, ATV trail riding and boating the Florida lakes and rivers. Gustafson is presently the Chair of the East Central Region of Leadership Florida.
Gustafson has also served on the board for the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce/Osceola Resort Area Council and participated in Leadership Orlando.
In addition to her volunteer board service, Gustafson and her husband Andrew founded the non-profit basketball club Florida Force in 2008. Traveling to multiple states and hundreds of tournaments, they have coached 3rd through High School age teams, winning numerous championships, including Florida State Titles -AAU, USSSA and YBOA. Gustafson and her family attend Real Life in Clermont, FL. She and her husband Andrew, live in Winter Garden, Florida and have two sons, Reece and Ty.
