Boombah-Soldiers Creek Park in Seminole County will host the State Championship event for the second year in a row
ORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 27, 2025) – The Boombah-Soldiers Creek Park in Longwood has been selected to host the 2026 Florida High School Softball State Championships. In partnership with Seminole County and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission (GO Sports), Florida’s best high school softball teams in 2026 will seek a conclusion to their season within the friendly confines of Seminole County. The 2026 championship event will feature 32 teams and take place from Tuesday, May 19 through Saturday, May 23.
Developed in 2017 and conveniently located in Longwood, Boombah-Soldiers Creek Park was built with championship softball in mind. The state-of-the-art complex boasts six natural turf fields, with one stadium-style for seating up to 1,000 spectators. The field and complex have already hosted multiple marquee events and elite tournaments, including the 2024 NCAA Division II Softball National Championships, making it an ideal location for the FHSAA State Championships.
In 2025, local teams from Hagerty, Winter Springs, Eustis, and Geneva each advanced to their division’s championship game. Winter Springs took home the 5A Championship, with Hagerty (7A), Eustis (3A), and Geneva (1A) all finishing as runners up.
“Our continued partnership with GO Sports and Seminole County reflects a shared commitment to providing first-class championship experiences for our member schools,” said Craig Damon, Executive Director of FHSAA. “Hosting the FHSAA Softball State Championships once again at Boombah-Soldiers Creek Park allows us to showcase an outstanding venue and create an environment where student-athletes, coaches, officials, and fans can celebrate the very best of high school softball.
