TWO ORLANDO VENUES INCLUDED IN OFFICIAL BID BOOK FOR 2031 FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP

Announcement made as the USWNT prepares to take the pitch at Inter&Co Stadium tonight in a friendly match vs. Italy

ORLANDO, FLA. (Nov. 28, 2025) — On the same day that our community welcomes the U.S. Women’s National Team to downtown Orlando, the Greater Orlando Sports Commission (GO Sports) is proud to share that both Camping World Stadium and Inter&Co Stadium have been included in U.S. Soccer’s official bid book submitted to FIFA as part of the joint U.S.–Mexico–Costa Rica–Jamaica joint effort to host the 2031 FIFA Women’s World Cup™.

Camping World Stadium has hosted dozens of major soccer matches over the years, including four matches in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and the U.S. Men’s National Team vs Brazil in June 2024 which set a new attendance record for a U.S. Soccer senior national team in the state of Florida (60,016). The stadium will undergo a $400 million improvement project beginning next month. The upgrades position Camping World Stadium for the future to support long-term growth in sports tourism, helping draw more high-profile events and generating economic impact for the region.

“Camping World Stadium has a rich history of hosting high-profile sporting events and concerts over several decades. With $400 million in Tourist Development Tax funding secured to reimagine the stadium, we’re looking forward to elevating both the athlete and fan experience,” said Orlando Venues Chief Venues Officer Allen Johnson. “With a commitment to providing legendary experiences, our venues and team are ready to host FIFA Women’s World Cup matches in 2031.”

Since opening in 2017, Inter&Co Stadium has been home to the Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and Orlando City SC of Major League Soccer (MLS). The venue has an extensive history of hosting a wide range of international soccer events, from the SheBelieves Cup (2020, 2021, 2023) and MexTour W to FIFA World Cup Qualifiers for the U.S. Men’s National Team (2017, 2022), the 2019 MLS All-Star Game, and most recently, two matches in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. Both the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams remain undefeated to date in matches played at Inter&Co Stadium.

“As the home of the 2024 NWSL Champions, the Orlando Pride, Inter&Co Stadium has established itself as a premier venue for elite women’s soccer,” said Jarrod Dillon, President of Business Operations for Orlando City SC, Orlando Pride and Inter&Co Stadium. “We’re proud to work alongside the Greater Orlando Sports Commission and our community partners to help bring one of the most impactful FIFA Women’s World Cups ever to Orlando. This tournament is a great opportunity to inspire young athletes, elevate women’s sports and showcase Orlando on the world stage.”

“We are honored that both Camping World Stadium and Inter&Co Stadium have been selected to advance in U.S. Soccer’s bid book for the 2031 FIFA Women’s World Cup,” said Jason Siegel, President & CEO of the Greater Orlando Sports Commission. “This important next step in the process reflects the strength of our regional partnerships and the collective commitment of Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride, Orlando Venues, the City of Orlando, Orange County, and Visit Orlando to showcasing world-class soccer. Orlando’s reputation as a global sports capital continues to grow, and the inclusion of two exceptional venues underscores our region’s unrivaled dedication to elevating women’s sports and hosting international competition at the highest level. We look forward to continuing our work with U.S. Soccer and FIFA as the bid process advances.”

The U.S. Soccer Federation, Mexican Football Federation, Costa Rican Football Federation, and Jamaica Football Federation launched their joint bid to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2031™ in October 2025. The bid pledges to deliver the most impactful tournament in history, designed to inspire future generations, empower women and girls through sport, and leave a lasting legacy for global football development.

The joint bid is part of a broader collaboration across Concacaf, with Costa Rica and Jamaica joining the U.S. and Mexico as co-hosting partners to deliver a continental celebration of women’s football. This bid comes at a pivotal moment for U.S. Soccer as it aims to springboard off the 2026 Men’s World Cup and 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles to realize its vision of growing the game and inspiring the next generation of fans and players.

A final decision on the tournament host for the 2031 FIFA Women’s World Cup™ is expected following FIFA’s Congress on April 30, 2026. The host city selection will be made after the tournament is awarded and is determined solely by FIFA .
